Welcome to RILA - Balkan Goods (“RILA”, “we”, “us”, “our”). We operate this website and online store (the “Services”) to sell our products to customers in the United Kingdom. The Services are hosted by Shopify.

By using the Services you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

1. Access and accounts

You must be the age of majority in your place of residence to use the Services. You are responsible for the security of your account and anything that happens under it. Keep your details accurate and up to date.

2. Our products

We try to describe and photograph products accurately. Colours and appearance can vary by device and settings. We may change, limit or discontinue products at any time.

3. Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept when we send an order confirmation and have processed payment. If we cannot accept or must cancel, we will let you know using the contact details you provided and refund any payment taken.

4. Prices, taxes and billing

Prices can change without notice. The price shown at checkout is the price you will pay and will be confirmed in your order email. Unless stated otherwise, prices exclude delivery charges and any applicable taxes that are shown at checkout. You agree to provide valid payment details and authorise us to charge your chosen method.

5. Shipping and delivery

We ship to the address you provide. Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Risk in the goods passes to you when the carrier delivers them. If items arrive damaged or not as described, contact us as set out in the Refund Policy.

6. Use of the Services and content

All content on the Services is owned by RILA or our licensors. You may use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Do not copy, modify, distribute or exploit our content without permission. “RILA - Balkan Goods” and our logos are our trade marks. All other marks belong to their owners.

7. Third-party services and links

The Services may link to or use tools and content provided by others, including Shopify. These are provided “as is”. We are not responsible for third-party sites or their content. Check their terms and policies before using them.

8. Shopify relationship

Our store runs on Shopify. Your purchases are made with RILA - Balkan Goods, not Shopify. Shopify is not responsible for our sales or products.

9. Feedback and reviews

If you submit reviews or feedback, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use and share them in any media. You promise you have the right to share what you submit and that it complies with the law. We may moderate or remove submissions that breach these Terms.

10. Errors and changes

Sometimes there may be errors or omissions on the Services. We may correct these and update information or cancel orders where necessary. If we cancel an accepted order, we will refund any payment.

11. Prohibited uses

Do not use the Services for unlawful activity, to send spam, to upload malicious code, to infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, to harass others, or to attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the Services. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms.

12. Warranty disclaimer

Except as required by law or expressly stated by us, the Services and products are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties or conditions of any kind. This does not affect your statutory rights.

13. Limitation of liability

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaching these Terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses that are not foreseeable, for business losses, or for events beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

14. Indemnity (business users only)

If you are using the Services for business purposes, you agree to indemnify us against claims and costs arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Services.

15. Termination

We may suspend or end your access to the Services if you materially breach these Terms. You remain responsible for amounts due up to the date of termination. Sections intended to survive termination will continue to apply.

16. Privacy

17. Assignment

You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer our rights and obligations at any time.

18. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer and live elsewhere in the UK, you may bring claims in your local courts.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and, where required by law, notify you. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
